Our Philosophy

We believe there is no one size fits all for dog training. Our approach involves assessing your whole dog to ensure mental and physical wellbeing. This includes environmental and lifestyle components, overall health and nutrition, exercise, decompression time, mental stimulation and enrichment and more. Our goal is not a quick fix, but long term success and reliability from your dog. This requires getting to the root of your dogs behaviors and addressing the emotions driving them.

About Meagan

Understanding the dynamics between animals and humans and how to communicate with each other has long been Meagan's passion. Although she spent much of her earlier years riding and showing horses, Meagan has since found her niche helping dogs and their owners get to know each other better. She takes pride in helping owners become their dogs best teacher. She has 2 of her own dogs (Rosco the Cane Corso, and Kali the Shepherd X), 2 horses (Zephyr and Sassy, who often frequent our social media pages) and 2 young children. She knows how busy life can get and has an affinity for helping owners find balance and harmony between their dogs and all things life, as well as safety with kids and dogs together in the home. Meagan loves all dogs but has a special spot for reactive dogs and nervous pups who need to find their confidence in the world.

Meagan is dedicated to continuous learning and growth, personally and professionally. This is seen in the happy dogs and happy clients she works with and she takes great pride in her work, referrals and repeat clients.

We also love being the student

We want to stay up to date and there is ALWAYS something to learn, through new courses, new clients and new research. We are dedicated to learning from a variety of resources to help us be as adaptable and knowledgeable as possible. In addition to regularly learning from a variety of webinars, books, and online courses, we are members of both IAABC & IACP, Insured through ProFur, and hold our DogSafe Canine First Aid Certification. We of course continue training with our own dogs, and take classes from other trainers.

There is something to learn from everyone.
