My sister Trudy and I love dogs and all animals. One day a man called to say that he had a dog that he didn't want and he had heard that we might take it. When we asked him why he didnt't want it , he said "I don't have time". We told him that we already had 5 dogs. He said he was on his way to dog pound. I said we would take the dog.

Soon word got out that we would take in unwanted dogs. We were taking in so many dogs that we were running out of room. We found homes for some of them. We made sure that all dogs had their shots and were spayed or neutered. It was begining to get expensive; what with the vet bills and the food and all.

We had an idea: If we trained some of them to do a show, maybe they could pay their own way.
